Sai’s grooves are strong and funky, but loose enough to allow the music to breathe. Sai’s combination of touch and sensitivity are evident in his latest project with, “Bring Back Pluto,” a power funk/jazz trio. “Bring Back Pluto” is currently signed with Treelawn Artists, and will be doing a series of short tours throughout the summer and fall in the Midwest and Northeast. When available, Sai freelances and does recording/session work. He also does consulting work and demos for Adrums in Boston. He just completed recording sound samples for their cymbal inventory. Sai is a sought after educator having sent students off to Berklee College of Music, The New School, NYU, Oberlin and USC to name a few. Sai teaches at Lawrence Academy, and also works with adults and high school students privately. To pursue study with Sai, see contact page.
